Come June, DC Comics will introduce 24 new comics alongside 25 ongoing series, which will go uninterrupted. This is definitely not a reboot, but similar to what DC Comics has been doing of canceling titles that haven't really hit it off with fans and replacing them with new and different books, except on a larger scale. "In this new era of storytelling, story will trump continuity as we continue to empower creators to tell the best stories in the industry" says Dan DiDio, DC Comics co-publisher.

Bat-Mite

Bat-Mite sketches by Corin Howell |
Who is "Bat-Mite" anyway? I'm mostly familiar with the character from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon, and if this has that kind of fun, I am 100% in. With Dan Jurgens writing I know he can deliver the fun, and while I'm not familiar with Corin Howell's work before, I think he'll be a great fit for this series. I look forward to this 6-issue mini-series.
Bizarro

Bizarro by Gustavo Duarte |
This is one of the titles that has me both scratching my head and intrigued beyond compare at the same time. What can you possibly do with a Bizarro comic? Yet, with the backward nature and total weirdness of the character, it certainly can lead to a lot of interesting things that could come out of this title.
Black Canary
![]() |
Black Canary by Annie Wu |
Brenden Fletcher, co-writer of Batgirl and Gotham Academy, and Annie Wu, of Hawkeye fame, are writing and drawing, respectively, a brand new Black Canary title. This has got to be my favorite of the new titles announced. I know some people have not been a fan of how Canary is depicted in the Batgirl series, but I'm having lots of fun reading that, so I don't mind if we get more of that!
Also, Wu's art is amazing (see image above), so it's easy to see why I'm so eager to read this one.
Constantine: The Hellblazer
John Constantine is getting a new title co-written by James Tynion IV and Ming Doyle, with Riley Rossmo also on art. I've become a huge fan Doyle's art over the last year, so I'm looking forward to what she brings to the book as a writer, this time around.Cyborg
Cyborg sketch by Ivan Reis
There's been a big push to have Cyborg at the forefront since the start of the New 52, with his inclusion in the Justice League. We all expected a Geoff Johns helmed Cyborg titled instead David L. Walker, writer of the Shaft comic book series, is launching it alongside superstar art team Ivan Reis and Joe Prado. So, while I may not be familiar with Walker's work, at least we know it's going to be a gorgeous book.
Justice League of America

Justice League of America by Bryan Hitch |
If first impressions are anything to go by, Bryan Hitch's Justice League certainly has the right look and feel to them! I haven't been reading the current Justice League title, but I'll be giving this book a try for sure.
Prez

Prez sketch by Ben Caldwell |
What in the world is Prez? A teenage girl who is president. That's as much as I know. The concept is interesting enough for me to warrant a look.
Robin, Son of Batman
![]() |
Batman, Son of Batman by Patrick Gleason |
Written and drawn by current Batman & Robin artist, Patrick Gleason, this is one of two Robin centric titles, and the one I'm more interested in at the moment, being that this seems to be more about Damian Wayne.
Starfire

Starfire by Amanda Conner |
It's hard not to be interested when you have Amanda Conner on covers. As a Starfire fan who hasn't been happy with how the character's been portrayed in the New 52, I have some high hopes for what Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti will do. Also, really digging the new look.
We Are Robin

We Are Robin by Lee Bermejo |
The other Robin title to come out this June. What has me most intrigued is that nothing is actually known about this title yet, except it ties to Robin in some way.
