Every Wednesday more than a handful of awesome comic books are released, and while it's impossible to go over each and every book, it's a good idea to spotlight an issue of something I think is worth your hard earned money. Be it a brand new series starting up or a new jumping on point for an already ongoing series, you can never have enough of good comics.
This week sees the highly anticipated reunion of Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham for the debut of their new book from Image Comics, Nameless.

If you're like me, you've already decided on picking this book up as soon as possible. It's Morrison and Burnham back together after their amazing stint on Batman, Inc., in a place where they aren't restricted from doing anything they may want to do with the book. It's also very exciting to see Morrison finally dive into something that is straight up horror for the first time.
It's hard to even try to explain a Grant Morrison book without having had read it first, and even then it could be a bit difficult, but that's the great thing about Morrison's work, I think; you really need to just jump into the deep end. It's his crazy out of this world style that always surprises me, and Nameless definitely seems to be out there. When paired with the right artist to tell Morrison's story, his work really takes whole new life. That's where Chris Burnham comes in. If Batman, Inc. is any indication of these two creators working well together, than I think we're in for a treat.
Nameless #1 by Grant Morrison, Chris Burnham, and Nathan Fairbairn comes out Wednesday, February 3, 2015.
